ANIMATION CONTROL FOR DIGITAL STORYTELLING USING HAND MOTION CAPTURE BASED FINITE STATE MACHINE

Abstract

The animated characters that tell the story of the people can be one of the medium of learning for children. animation was designed and presented to the media learning has grown in recent times, Way of presenting different instructional animation content can lead to interest children to learn, one with a hand motion capture as an animated presentation. Digital Storytelling is the practice of combining images with a narrated soundtrack including voice, music and videos. Storytelling becomes a form of learning through an efficient game in which the user can see and understand that learning is delivered. In the concept of storytelling players do not directly play the game but is told advance the story. Limitations of tools that should be played by one user can be maximized to two people with each using one hand to navigate the character, the testing process synchronization error recognition rate obtained by 90%, then increasing the capability of the hardware and software needed so that errors can be minimized by destination improve comfort in navigation when playing.
